Fast, warm & satisfying breakfast for cold autumn days. I love porridge because it is very variable and can be prepared quickly.
When I have breakfast at work, I always prepare Overnight Oats. When I eat at home, I like to prepare a portion of Porridge. You can really let off steam and experiment with this recipe. That’s my favorite recipe right now. I prefer to eat it with lots of fruit and a few nuts. 🙂 Have fun trying it out!
Ingredients for 1 serving:
- 3/4 Cup rolled oat
- 1.5 Cup water
- 1 Tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 banana chopped
- 2 Tbsp peanut butter
- date syrup
- Fruit of your choice
- Cut the banana into small pieces and place in a small pot together with the rolled oats, water and cocoa.
- Simmer the porridge for about 5 minutes while stirring.
- As soon as the desired consistency is reached, stir in the peanut butter and sweeten the porridge with date syrup.
- Put everything in a bowl and garnish the oats with fruit and peanut butter.
